As parents and artists, we often ask ourselves a simple question: what happens to the things our children outgrow their toys, their clothes, their little objects of comfort and discovery? Most of these items end up in landfills, burned or buried, adding to global warming and the growing waste that harms our planet.

This installation reimagines those forgotten objects. Using our daughter Quinn’s baby clothes, toys, and other discarded materials, we created a soft, dreamlike world filled with memory and imagination. Here, nothing is thrown away everything is transformed.

Visitors are invited to lie beneath a floating mobile made from reclaimed materials, play with cushioned cubes, and explore a gentle space where even the youngest children can interact safely. Every piece in this environment carries the stories of children just like ours.

Through this work, we hope to spark a simple reflection:

How might we care for the things we leave behind?
And what kind of future do we want to build for the next generation?
